Prayer Request – Ankle

Well as some of you know, I have been battling a sudden and unprovoked swelling and soreness in my ankle. Also as some of you know, this is not the first time I’ve dealt with this. Here’s some info:

Basically, some days I wake up and my ankle hurts for no known reason. Usually it lasts a day or two, but sometimes more, and once up to two weeks. Basically, when it’s longer than a day, it gets progressively worse until I can’t walk because any touch to my ankle shoots pain through my leg.  About four days ago, it flared up again. Yesterday, I couldn’t walk. So now I’m back on crutches and I went to the doctor’s office today.  They x-rayed my ankle, and found nothing wrong, said all the bones in my ankle were extremely healthy, etc.  So basically they said it had to be some sort of inflammatory joint deal, most likely gout or psuedo-gout (which I’ve figured it was for the past 3 years or so), but they had no idea why someone my age (early 20s) would have it.  They took some blood for testing, and said they would call us with the results.

I say all this to say, please pray for me. The pain has been excrutiating the last few days, and I’m on crutches.  Also, tomorrow I go back to work. Thank you all so much.
