1 John Chapter 5

….Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God; and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born from Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and practice His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and his commandments are not heavy. Because everyone who has been born from God conquers the world; and this is the victory that has conquered the world, our faith. Who is the one who conquers the world if not the one who believes that Jesus is the son of God?	1-5
….Jesus Christ is the one who came through water and blood, and not by water only, but by water and by blood; the Spirit is the one who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three who bear witness, the spirit, and the water, and the blood, and these three are in agreement. If we receive the testimony of man, the testimony of God is greater, because this is the testimony of God that has born witness concerning His son. The person who believes in the son of God has the testimony in himself. The person who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning His son. And this is the testimony, that God gave eternal life to us, and this life is in His son. The person who has the son has life. The person who does not have the son of God does not have life.	6-12
….I write these things to you who believe in the name of the son of God, so that you might believe that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence which we have from Him: whatever we ask according to His will, He hears us. If we know that he hears us in regards to whatever we ask, we also know that we have the requests that we have asked from Him.	13-15
….If anyone sees his brother while he is sinning a sin that does not lead towards death, he shall ask and God shall give him life– to those who commit sins that do not lead towards death. There is a sin that leads towards death; I do not say that he should ask concerning that one. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin that does not lead towards death.	16-17
….We know that everyone born of God cannot sin, but the One who was born of God guards him, and the evil one cannot touch him. We know that we are from God and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. But we know that the son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know the truth, and that we are in the truth, in His son, Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.	18-21
